Gaurav Singh/Bhojpur: As summer approaches, the demand for cold beverages increases. In such a situation, everyone remembers the Kulhar Lassi in Arrah, Bihar. These days, there is a huge demand for Kulhar Lassi at Imran Lassi in Arrah. Thousands of people move here. Imran Lassi has a shop in Milky Mohalla of Arrah. 400 to 500 Kulhad Lassi is being consumed here every day. As the heat is increasing, the demand is also increasing. The way of making it is also special.
30 kg curd is also reduced every day
Imran told Local 18 that if you come here, you will always see a crowd for Lassi. Along with Lassi, Rabri and Peda are also available here. However, demand for lassi remains high. Imran says that more than 400 glasses of lassi are sold every day. Every day about 30 kg of curd is used to make lassi. Sometimes it falls even 30 kg short.
Garnish with cashew nuts and raisins
Cashews and raisins are garnished in all types of lassi. Imran told that about 30 kg curd and 10 kg sugar are consumed daily in making and selling lassi. He told that curd is made from buffalo milk. Curd is ready in one day. Milk is bought from nearby villages.
Know what is the specialty
Imran says that the most special thing about our Lassi is its purity and quality. Unless the quality is good, people will not like Lassi. The most special thing about our Lassi is that while making curd, no water is added to the milk. That’s why the curd sets very thick. At the same time, while making lassi, we do not use water at all. Due to which lassi becomes very thick. Apart from sugar in Lassi, we also give it to people by adding cream on top. Due to which its taste is further doubled. We serve it in Kulhar, which adds fragrance to the taste. Glass is given at Rs 30 per kulhar.
